Since 2020, I have been photographing the Moon and placing it inside everyday scenes in the Brazilian countryside: a car trunk, a wheelbarrow, a lantern, a jar. Each image combines two real photographs, the scene and the Moon, shot on location and combined by hand. No AI. The series has been featured in The Times, Metro and the Daily Mirror, and published in the Sanitas Health Forecast 2026 book in Switzerland. I’m Daniel Antoniol, a photographer from Minas Gerais, based in Rio de Janeiro.
