The ruler and the nut

My practice explores the unknown through intuitive experimentation with recycled materials, such as scaffolding clamps, translating the gestures of painting into a three-dimensional, spatial dimension. I am drawn to how industrial fragments acquire an almost organic presence through color, repetition, and layering. As in my paintings, each action responds to what is already there, allowing the work to emerge through a delicate dialogue between material, impulse, and emotion. Balance shifts as forms accumulate and their relationships evolve. These sculptures reflect my fascination with the unconscious processes that shape our behavior in the studio, giving form to an inner landscape that remains open to continuous transformation.
