Traqueros En Sitio

How do you hold a lens to absence and let what’s missing speak back?
This series revisits the erased settlements of Mexican railworkers whose homes existed only as boxcars along the tracks. I return to Big Marsh, once a slag dump, now a park, to search for traces where whole communities once lived. With no structures left, I follow coordinates, overgrowth, and fragments as if they were clues. The images move between documentation and speculation, building a quiet, speculative archive for histories the landscape has tried to forget.
