Morgan Mueller is a Brooklyn based artist whose research based practice creates conceptually layered work which explores systems of infrastructure and ecology through the lens of labor, extraction, and global trade.
The selected images in this series were made across the Deserts of Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas. They are not an aimed at documenting the people and places that have been forced to the periphery by various forms of industrial and military induced slow violence. Instead they are an attempt to understand the entangled relationships held between the ecologies, people, and industries of the Desert.
