I've always been drawn to shapes, contrast, and textures. This has been a primary motivation in recording images in urban settings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area where I live. Interesting images can be found anywhere. You don't need to be an international traveler to find compositions of interest and worth recording. I have found this mind set to be a very rewarding one in just traveling local distances. The images presented here are samples from my portfolios of various ' urban abstracts ' that I have created over the years.
