"Urban Decay" is a visual study consisting of photographs taken in abandoned buildings and factories, as well as photographs of urban walls and wall mounted posters. By contemplating the pictures one can perhaps distinguish an underlying desire for creating an alternative kind of social model.
The rough and damaged appearance of the pictures alludes to the fragility of human nature, the inevitability of material decay and the transient nature of commodity society (and earthly existence in general). Although such subjects are generally perceived as rather morbid and depressing, reflection on their significance could prove to be an illuminating way of reflecting on life.
