Inspired by classical depictions of Venus, Venus Protocol reinterprets the goddess as a contemporary figure suspended between desire, control, and constructed identity. The pose echoes traditional iconography of beauty and emergence, yet is disrupted by industrial materials and coded symbols of fragility.
The helmet replaces myth with mechanism—transforming Venus from a symbol of divine femininity into an ambiguous, mediated presence. Softness and power collide through stylised gesture, texture, and cinematic light, creating a tension between exposure and protection.
By merging fashion language with art historical reference, the work questions how ideals of beauty persist, mutate, and become systemised within modern visual culture.
