White noise

White Noise questions digital noise as the border between the human signal and its avatar. A face surfaces among petals and fragments of binary code, as if the image were still deciding whether it belongs to the body or to the machine that reads it. Noise is usually what must be removed to reach the signal. Here it becomes the material itself, the place where perception, data and presence overlap and where a person begins to turn into a dataset. The work belongs to my ongoing research with generative AI and TouchDesigner, a series of portraits that mixes AI imagery and digital iconography. It extends my wider exploration of the tension between humans and technology, nourished by the dystopian worlds of Philip K. Dick. Generative AI video, TouchDesigner, 2026.
