I am Jeff Bocquillon, a digital artist working as Papangue Project from Saint-Denis, La Réunion. Since 2007 I have worked with 3D, video and, more recently, generative AI and TouchDesigner. My practice explores the tension between humans and technology: how faces, bodies and memories are absorbed by the systems that read them, and how consumerism shapes our relation to our own tools. I draw on the dystopian worlds of Philip K. Dick and on geometric and typographic symbolism. Current series include Feel More With Less, Life Forms, Neo Bugeisha and White Noise. My work has been shown at Seker Factory Gallery in Los Angeles and featured in Abduzeedo and IDN Magazine.
