Zarlor

Zarlor, from the Reunionese Creole “Jar of Gold” offers a contemplative invitation to explore the wild landscapes of Reunion Island, an immersive journey into childhood memories intertwined with beliefs drawn from the myths and legends that fueled my adolescent readings. Greek mythology thus becomes the canvas on which I paint the narrative of my personal odyssey, while evoking that of a community harmoniously merging with the natural elements that surround them.
My works draw their essence from the enigmatic history of our island, where energies move in an invisible dance. It's spiritual quest, a profound immersion into our island identity.
These images become a visual epic, a journey through the stars, an invitation to feel the invisible and contemplate the infinite that resides within each of us.
