Abi Joy Samuel, a London-based figurative expressionist artist born in 1993, had her journey shaped by foster care, sparking a lifelong exploration of the intersection between life and art, ultimately achieving a state of 'inbetweeness.' Holding a BA in fashion design, she gained insight into creative processes while working with McQ Alexander McQueen. Her global recognition includes multiple solo exhibitions, acknowledged by a New York Times art critic. She is currently one of the first selected artists for the Quinn Emanuel Artist-In-Residence program in London. In March 2024, she debuts a solo show in the USA while pursuing studies at the Royal College of Art on a scholarship.
