Akeppa is a Japan-based artist creating colorful, surreal characters inspired by everyday life, personal experiences, and unspoken emotions.

Beneath their playful and sometimes unsettling appearances lie feelings of frustration, affection, uncertainty, and the contradictions of modern society.

Through strange yet strangely familiar characters, Akeppa explores the tension between humor and discomfort, giving shape to emotions that are often difficult to express.

Each character offers a glimpse into a world where not everything is quite as it seems.
