Amira Tanany is an Egyptian Illustrator and associate professor. She has received three first-place awards: Nasser bin Hamad International Youth Creativity- Bahrain (2021).Behance digital painting appreciation portfolio reviews- Egypt. And Mahmoud Kahil Award 9th (2024) in illustration category. and won a third prize of illustration contest (Diritti a colori) in Italy (2024).Also, she has worked as an editorial illustrator for many magazines. she started my own illustration project which won the Mahmoud Kahil Award for 9th in 2024, Titled "Egyptian ‘Street". It's recalls Egyptian cultural such as the folkloric tales, dances, music, proverbs. She also works to advocate for societal issues such as wars, women's rights and children's rights.
