Andrea Evan. (Andrea Evangelou), a graduate of Florence's Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, currently lives and works in Limassol, Cyprus. She exhibits her work in New York, Vienna, Florence and across Greece and Cyprus.
Her primary focus is figurative painting, choosing poses and faces that want to express something beyond mild emotions. Preferring to establish her work within a context of abstraction, Evan. immerses herself in the process of discovering what oil paint is capable of, how it can reflect textures and the illusion it has the ability to create.
