Andrea Koesters, born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1994, is an interdisciplinary artist, photographer and designer. She worked as a film lab manager for many years where she became well-versed in analog photography methods, chemistry and printing. Now based in southern Arizona, Andrea lives on an artist ranch in the rural Southwest where themes of wild expanses, fauna and nightscapes continue to inform her work. The daughter of a photographer and a writer, Andrea builds upon this collective ancestral knowledge to illustrate the interconnected relationship between setting, time and planet.
