André Souza (b. 1988) is an architect and self-taught photographer based in Salvador, Brazil, whose practice focuses on alternative and experimental photographic processes, blurring the boundaries between fiction and documentary. With a background in architecture and urbanism, he investigates how technology mediates contemporary imagery and human environments. His latest project, Solaris, examines the fragmentation of bodies and identities into data, addressing themes of disconnection, systemic failure, memory, and machine surveillance.
