Saad Qureshi, aka aqua.saad, is a Pakistani-Canadian artist based in Vancouver. Working in oil pastel and acrylic paint, he creates layered mixed media compositions that explore the contradictions of cultural belonging and emotional resilience through the lens of a South Asian in the diaspora.

Saad’s visual language blends expressionist mark-making with graphics influences drawn from his childhood. His work weaves themes of emotional resilience and struggles with mental health into imagery that is both intensely personal and widely resonant.
