Arief Priyono is an Indonesia-based documentary photographer. He studied photography at Antara School of Journalism.
In 2013 & 2014 he received a scholarship for the Photographer Training of Trainers program from the PannaFoto Institute at Erasmus Huis, the Dutch Cultural Center in Jakarta.
His first documentary film concerning children orphaned due to COVID-19 in Indonesia has won the Ruedi Hofmann Media Award from the 7th Puskat Film Festival - 2021.
He received a fellowship from Earth Journalism Network - Ocean Media Initiative Story Grant 2023: Reporting on Marine Pollution.
