I am a Toronto-based encaustic painter, embroiderer and mixed-media artist. I have been a maker my whole life, but have spent the past several years working almost exclusively with beeswax. My approach to everything I make is extremely holistic, in concept, technique and medium. I am fundamentally guided and inspired by the organic and local materials I rely on, such as Canadian beeswax, reclaimed Ontario barn wood, birch bark, horsehair and porcupine quills.
I am represented by Wallspace Gallery, in Ottawa. In addition to exhibiting in solo and group shows, my work has been featured in many on-line and print magazines, and has sold extensively in Canada and internationally.
