I’m Behnan Shabbir, a professional freelance illustrator with 20 years of experience in the fields of editorial illustration, comics, storyboarding and advertising.

I am from Istanbul/Turkey. I have been working as an illustrator mainly in advertising, doing illustration and storyboard work. I have worked as an editorial illustrator and also produced music album covers, created book covers and comics.

I love to draw anthropomorphic animal characters, as well as silent and nostalgic landscapes and cityscapes with atmospheric light. I can also create highly personalized, realistic illustrations. My main goal is to produce digital art that has a warm, handmade style and art that evokes nostalgic feelings.
