Bulgarian-born painter residing in Paris, masterfully captures the essence of urban life through a lens of surreal introspection and modern figuration. His works transcend conventional cityscapes, infusing Parisian architecture and street scenes with an oneiric quality that blurs the boundaries between reality and reverie. Drawing inspiration from the city's dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and reflection—often on glass, water, and metal—Ivanoff's oil paintings evoke a dreamlike distortion of the familiar, where everyday urban elements are reimagined as poetic symphonies of form and color. Each canvas invites viewers into multilayered visual narratives that explore the intimate dialogues between the prosaic and the sublime, fostering a profound rediscovery of metropolitan spaces through sophisticated, immersive compositions.
