Alessandro Filograna is a self-taught contemporary artist born in Lecce, Italy, in 1985, currently living and working in Milan.
His artistic practice combines collage, screen printing, painting and assemblage, exploring the relationship between popular culture, memory and transformation.
Inspired by Pop Art and Arte Povera, he works with reclaimed materials, discarded objects, old magazines and everyday imagery, giving them new identities and meanings.
His work moves between irony, surrealism and social reflection, inviting viewers to look beyond appearances and rediscover the value of what is often forgotten.
