chelsea j. ferguson is a conceptual collage artist.archivist.writer working out of portland, or. as an artist she plays with the use of shared cultural languages and symbols as a means of reclaiming narrative power. her visual grammar is informed by an early career in media and advertising, and studies of art history, popular, and visual cultures.

to date her work has been featured in galleries around the country, including a solo show at the hoxton, portland, and a group show at the contrast gallery. the artist’s work and words have also been published in visual art journal, riverwise, and black feminist collective.
