I don't shoot postcards. Instead, I explore the weight and raw atmosphere of urban environments. My work is a subjective study of the modern metropolis, focusing on the tension between monumental architecture and the fleeting, anonymous nature of human crowds. Using high contrast, heavy film grain, and intentional motion blur, I strip cities of their romantic polish to reveal the often isolating and intimidating reality beneath: from brutalist architecture and claustrophobic liminal spaces to stoic landmarks. My photography captures how a place actually feels, not just how it looks.
