Diane Cartron is an illustrator based in Paris. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Val de Seine, she has been drawn since childhood to images that tell stories, evoke emotions, and capture the poetry of everyday life.
Working primarily in colored pencil, her visual language is inspired by movement, nature, and the aquatic world. She creates sensitive, narrative illustrations where close observation of reality meets a quiet sense of wonder. From editorial and publishing projects to personal commissions, her work explores fleeting gestures, suspended moments, and the delicate space between the real and the imagined.
