Deniz Ozuygur (b. Istanbul) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work reimagines everyday and domestic objects as reflections on gender, identity, and labor. Her practice spans sculpture, photography, video, and ceramics, often incorporating word play and unconventional materials. Having grown up in New York City after moving from Istanbul, Deniz’s practice is shaped by the experience of navigating cultural intersections.
Deniz received her BFA from New York University, where she was awarded the Jack Goodman Scholarship for Art & Technology. She has exhibited internationally in Istanbul, New York, Miami, Venice, Lisbon, Dubai, and Warsaw, and recently participated in the 43rd Contemporary Artists Exhibition at Akbank Sanat. Her first solo exhibition, Happy Brideday, opens at Büyükdere35 in Istanbul in September 2025.
