Emily Hales is a multidisciplinary artist who primarily paints and works digitally to create colorful, atmospheric, and dreamy figurative work and domestic scenes. Hales’ paintings explore the strangeness and wonder that life brings. They also explore how memories feel to them. We are expansive, creative, dreamy, and ever-changing beings stuck in a physical world of deadlines, alarms, appointments, meetings, and traffic lights.
