Eric Sandstrom is a street photographer, born and raised in the Canadian Rocky
Mountains. His love for photography grew from an appreciation of the breathtaking natural
landscapes around him, as well as the outstanding action sports athletes in his community. Over
the last 5 years, he has moved from Calgary, Canada to London, UK, Copenhagen, Denmark
and now resides in Barcelona, Spain. Moving away from the wilderness of Canada to densely
populated cities shifted his focus away from landscape and sport photography, and gave light to
a new exploration of street photography. He is now pursuing a MA in Photography & Design
from ELISAVA School of Design & Engineering, where he is in the formative phase of his final
degree project.
