Ailín Ó Dálaigh is a photographer and filmmaker currently located in Victoria B.C. He holds both a B.A. and an M.A. in Slavic Studies from the University of Victoria, having researched and written on early Soviet cinema. The aesthetics of Soviet film during the 1920s and 1930s informs the style of his photography and filmmaking, with his work being nearly all film-based and utilizing 8mm/Super 8mm and 35mm for photography.
