Grisha Stepanian (b. 1997, Kaliningrad, Russia) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Working across painting, drawing, textile, and installation, his practice explores negative emotions and modern social pressure. His work is shaped by migration, community-based projects, and a fifteen-month period in U.S. immigration detention, where drawing became a daily meditative practice.
