I am Gamze Topuz, a digital artist and visual arts teacher. As a Visual Arts teacher and a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, I blend my traditional academic foundation with the limitless realm of digital art.Drawing inspiration from the mystical, alchemical, and dream-like visions of Remedios Varo and Leonora Carrington, my digital and generative art practice explores the unseen layers of existence. I conceptualize portraiture not merely as a physical representation, but as a metaphysical portal into the labyrinths of the human psyche. By transforming ancient mythological archetypes—from the divine wisdom to the tragically misunderstood—into rebellious icons, I investigate existential resilience, emotional autonomy, and the fluid nature of identity.
