Hannah Edelman (b. 1996) is a South Florida-born photographer currently based in Queens, New York. Edelman holds a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied documentary and post-documentary photography under the mentorship of artists Eli Durst and Dennis Darling. Her work centers on collaboration and storytelling as a means to explore themes of memory, and place. Through her deep curiosity about cultural beliefs—both fact and myth—her work, which moves fluidly between the personal and documentary, reflects on the intricate connection between human behavior and the land. She thoughtfully explores how the passage of time transforms and redefines this bond.
