I'm a visual artist. I work with photography as found material: the archive I inherited from my father, the family album, vernacular images and the visual leftovers of the street. I edit, layer and rewrite them right at the point where a photograph stops working as evidence and starts building fiction, and from there I look at how images manufacture memory and identity. I've had solo shows at Sala Rosalía de Castro and Atelier de Fotografía, taken part in group exhibitions in Spain, Portugal and London, and held residencies at EAN13 and RuralArt. I founded the photobook publisher Demente Ediciones.
