Jen Weissenbacher is a German artist working in a self-defined style she calls Magical Pop Realism. Between painting and sculpture, her mixed-media reliefs explore the relationship between humans, animals, and the cosmos. Using acrylics, structure paste, polymer clay, and iridescent materials, she creates vibrant, tactile surfaces that blur the line between image and object. Her ongoing series Zwischenräume (“In-Between Spaces”) invites viewers to pause and look beyond the visible, opening portals of perception with works such as The Watcher, Beyond, and Follow the White Rabbit. Weissenbacher’s art aims not to explain but to spark wonder, presence, and a shift in perspective.
