Julia Sebastian is a Cincinnati-based artist who received an MFA from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP and a BA from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY. Sebastian’s studio work of predominantly drawing and digital work has been shown nationally and abroad. Her studio practice consists of making digital work during office hours and maintaining studio hours at night and on the weekends at the dining room table surrounded by her husband, cat, and dog. Sebastian has taught at the University of Cincinnati and Antioch College, and is currently a Professor of Visual Arts in Foundations at Northern Kentucky University.
