I am Julianna Bloodgood, a multidisciplinary theatre maker, vocalist and performer. From 2009 - 2018 I worked with award winning Polish theatre company Song of the Goat Theatre. I am a resident artist with New York based Theater MITU and Slovakian company Honey and Dust. My work includes anthropological performance research and I have traveled extensively in search of different cultural perspectives on the body, voice and the ritual of performance. My research with the body has led to an in-depth and ongoing study of the connection between body and voice and I have immersed myself into many different singing styles, traditions and techniques. I have over 20 years of experience in dance and movement practices, and I perform, teach and research globally. I currently reside in Greece and am composing and recording my own music.
