Kristofer Salfert

A lifelong creative, Salfert has spent his career shaping visual culture as a current
Director in marketing and past founder of a clothing brand ran for 15 years.
Now he turns his focus toward the art he has always wanted to pursue: oil painting,
and visual storytelling rooted in place, identity, and collective experience.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, his work draws from the emotional texture of prairie
life and the cultural rhythms of his hometown and surrounding landscapes.
By pairing familiar imagery with open-ended compositions, he explores themes
of belonging, resilience, challenges of mediocrity, and local pride. His work invites
dialogue, sometimes celebratory, sometimes critical, that encourages reflection,
connection, and a reimagining of the conditions we share and where we can progress.
