Laila Annmarie Stevens is a 20-year-old photographer and visual artist pursuing her BFA at The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her work focuses on portraiture through bold documentation and storytelling, particularly on youth members of marginalized communities, as it relates to identity and the creation of a safe space. Through her early work in grassroots organizations, she’s incorporated image-making to envision a world of inclusion and power.
