李佳佳 Jiajia Li was born in 1995 in China. She lives and works in Germany. As a visual artist, Jiajia Li explores the intersection of art on paper, sculpture and installation as a means of emotional expression.
Jiajia Li strives to explore the depth of the unconscious through art, to visualize perceptions in art, and to resonate in expression so as to mend her childhood trauma by process and solace the onlookers at the other end. For her, to express emotions in art is not just a release of tension. It's to stir up the chaos and dive into it, to not lose oneself with it, and to love beyond it. Her visual art bears this essence and centers on abstract figures, as she sees herself as a vessel into which complex emotions flow in and out.
