I paint what I become through what I experience. Encounters, emotions, and changes leave traces within us, shaping who we are. These traces are at the heart of my work.
My approach is intuitive. I rarely begin with a fixed idea. I let colours, textures, and materials guide me, building up, covering, and transforming surfaces until something unexpected emerges. Cardboard, sand, and coffee grounds become part of this process, carrying their own marks and histories.
Through layers, erasures, and transformations, I explore the tension between what remains, what changes, and what resists. Each painting becomes a dialogue between myself, the materials, and the work as it unfolds.
I paint to encounter what escapes me, to discover through painting what I could not have known beforehand.
