Sha is a Maldivian contemporary artist working primarily in abstract painting. Her practice explores tension, restraint, materiality and the relationship between structure and emotion. Through layered surfaces, muted colour and expressive forms, she creates works that sit between control and spontaneity. Influenced by architecture, raw materials and the visual language of Brutalism, her paintings invite interpretation rather than presenting a fixed narrative.
