Sydney born Byron Bay based artist Marley Alvarez practices mixed-media art which undulates between digital imagery, text, line drawing and painting. 

Whilst exploring each discipline separately, Marley’s work marries each element together to create an ethereal type world full of colour, shape and psychological texture.
 Alvarez’s perspective of self and other worldly topics is demonstrated throughout the language, colour and scene-setting of her works.


From concept to creation, Marley unites nostalgia with topicality through amalgamations of mediums such as text, imagery and paint.
The fluidity within her mixed media collages shows great composition displays whilst keeping the viewer connected to their inner child with bright pigments, thick raw strokes, text and ethereal line drawings.
