Cynthia Bi (meidakeet) is a visual artist based in North America, working primarily in watercolor and gold leaf on wood panels. Her work explores light, movement, and quiet transformation through gradients of sky, atmosphere, and flight.
After years away from the studio while pursuing a legal career in New York City, she stepped away in 2025 to return to her inner life as an artist, beginning a slower, more intentional practice rooted in observation and memory.
Her paintings trace moments of transition—night into morning, stillness into motion—while birds appear as gentle companions, reflecting migration and renewal. Through her work, she invites viewers into spaces of quiet reflection, where light is felt rather than explained and change unfolds gently over time.
