Born in 1996 in Moscow, Polina lived and studied in the UK and Cyprus. She works with traditional materials such as oil, watercolours, using a two-dimensional drawing as her means of self-reflection. Wherever Polina travels and currently stays, she paints and draws in her house studio, constantly moving between different locations and being in the state of an observer of life unravelling around her and inspiring her personal reflections. Her internal thoughts mix up with exterior impressions, together informing her artistic world of characters. People, memories, particular emotions are quickly pinned down or developed more thoroughly on bigger scales resulting in psychological analysis, similar to notes in diary, where events unravel and slowly present the personality behind the words.
