Codie Natalie Yan is a filmmaker, photographic essayist, and a mixed-
media artist currently based in Syracuse, NY. She holds a BFA in film and transmedia from the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University. She explores the cultural nuances and societal discourse through a vivid visual voice in both fictional and non-fictional works. Yan's work has been exhibited at the Syracuse International Film Festival, the Boston Short Film Festival, the Blackbird Film Festival, and the Chain NYC Film Festival. She is serving on the Award jury for Blackbird Film Festival 2019.
