Nikola Gocić (b. 1980) is an architect by education, a film critic and curator for the Kinoskop festival of analog experimental cinema by passion, and a digital collage artist by obsession. Over eight years of self-taught practice, he has held five solo exhibitions and participated in digital showcases across major cities including Paris, Berlin, Venice, Dubai, and New York. Gocić has frequently collaborated with filmmaker Rouzbeh Rasihidi on a number of film essays, as well as with NYC-based underground artist Martin Del Carpio on promotional designs. Notably, his collages has served as the visual foundation for filmmaker Martin Gerigk’s animated shorts, which have screened at over 500 festivals around the globe. His artwork has also been widely featured in international art publications.
