I’m ool, an illustrator based in Japan. I create colorful, playful, and slightly surreal illustrations of people and animals. With simple lines and expressive characters, I explore a world where humans and other creatures share the same gentle warmth and small moments of humor.

My work spans books, stationery, packaging, advertising, and animation. Alongside commissioned projects, I develop personal series such as 366 COLORS, an ongoing collection pairing 366 colors with 366 animals, mostly dogs and cats.

I hope my illustrations bring a little curiosity, joy, and unexpected company into everyday life.
