A professional amateur is the best description of Yiou Wang, whose design and artworks encompass illustration, architectural speculations, comic, and video game. With a psychology background and an architecture training, Yiou’s longtime art practice reflects an intellectual fascination with embodied spatial experience, dreamscape, the incredulity of mediums, alternative realities, and the gamer as the basic state of beings. Yiou's writings contributed to conferences and journals in architectural history and theory, Art & Machines International Symposium, and ACM Sig Chi. Yiou is currently a Master of Architecture student at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
