Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Phillip first developed a strong affinity for contemporary art at the University of South Alabama, where he received a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in painting and art history. He completed graduate studies in Art Direction at The Portfolio Center in Atlanta before beginning a career in advertising that took him to Boston, Washington, D.C., Memphis, and his current residence in Greenville, South Carolina. Having painted off and on since college, Phillip is now a full-time artist selling to collectors both nationally and internationally.
