Pia Antonsen Rognes is a visual artist working with textiles.
Opposing associations and anthropomorphic qualities are consistent expressions in her sculptural work, and link to a thematic investigation of destructive behaviour.
Pia holds a MA in Fine Arts from Iceland Academy of the Arts, 2014, and a BA specializing in textile from the Bergen National Academy of the Arts, 2012.
In 2015 she received the Debutant Prize at the 39th Trøndelags Exhibition, and in 2013 she was awarded the annual Craft Prize from the Relief Fund for Visual Artists.
